I am a geographer and environmental scientist (Autonomous University, Madrid). Master's degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Geospatial modelling. I am dedicated to understanding hydro-geomorphological natural hazards in high-mountain environments, with a specific focus on the Pyrenees. My background is characterized by a progressive specialization in spatial data analysis. During my Master's degree, I was awarded a Departmental Collaboration Grant focused on determining urban sustainability indicators through spatial analysis. I specialized in the development of hierarchical species distribution models (SDMs) and the management of large databases using R programming.
As a predoctoral researcher at the National Museum of Natural Sciences, my work focuses on deepening and optimizing the spatio-temporal understanding of these processes to provide a solid scientific foundation that improves risk management and territorial resilience. This scientific approach stands out for integrating various high-resolution temporal and spatial methodologies, such as dendrogeomorphology, with cutting-edge tools in remote sensing and LiDAR technology.
