Osvaldo Franco-Ramos

PhD in Geography. Since 2016, I have been a researcher at the Institute of Geography of the National Autonomous University of Mexico.

I have been a pioneer in Mexico in the research line of dendrogeomorphology in mountain systems. I have been responsible for research projects focused on assessing the frequency and magnitude of geomorphological processes, based on dendrogeomorphological methods and modeling in central Mexico.

I teach Physical Geography in the Applied Geography undergraduate program and dendrogeomorphology in the graduate program in Geography and Earth Sciences at UNAM. In addition, I have supervised undergraduate, master's, and doctoral theses
